Studio J Layouts

I can say I am caught up in my scrapbooking for the year! Yea! CTMH had a special in February (it's not too late!!!) of "Buy 9, Get 1 Free". I took advantage - I had not tried Studio J yet! How am I supposed to be teaching you how to do it if I don't know how? In about two afternoons, I designed 10 layouts - I use the term "design" loosely has the Studio J software is so magical that all I *had* to do was upload my photos and place them into pre-designed layouts. I could add additional embellishments (some are already loaded into the layouts) or not. It was up to me! I kept some of the layouts simple to show you what comes pre-designed but other layouts I really added embellishments and manipulated papers and textures.

There are a few different ways to pay - but being a member is worth the investment! Regular price is $12.95 for a 2 page layout + shipping and handling. When you are a member (3 month membership is $30 or a 12 month membership is $99) you receive free page protectors, free shipping and handling once a month for up to 20 layouts, plus free .jpg files of your layouts to post to your blog, FaceBook, email to Grandma or to re-print at a local store. You earn back your membership costs fast with all the savings you get by being a member. The best part - if you're not sure you want to commit to membership right away, you can play for free for 3 months. You will not be charged anything until you try to buy your layouts. You will then be asked if you want the membership to reduce your costs - but that's up to you!

Check out the layouts I made and judge for yourself. If you would like more information or to see the layouts in person (to judge the quality) please contact me - I'd love to hear from you!

Since the post is long I will continue to post more tomorrow. Have a great day!

Valentine's Day Cards

I had to work at my day job this Saturday but because of the nature of the event, I was able to take my scrapbooking with me to keep myself entertained. Here are a few of the cards I made. I focused on romantic Valentine's Day cards. Take a look...

I had an AMAZING weekend!

I was extremely busy this weekend with all things related to scrapbooking! Every year, my mother-in-law and I travel to a Retreat Center nearby to scrapbook all weekend with a great group of ladies of all ages. I stayed up past 2:00 am each day because I just loved being so saturated with creativity and inspiration (that and I was scrapbooking my son's baby album and I can't believe how little he was!). I was also finishing up a swap with my CTMH team that I handed in today. I have a few new layouts to share and I will put pictures up soon.

Also, I participated in Casey's Home Kick Off Party yesterday and met a lot of people interested in CTMH and scrapbooking - if you are one of the ladies I met, welcome! Check out some of the projects I've already posted and check back again soon for more - or better yet, "Follow" me so you will know when I update!

Valentine's Day gift cards

Valentine's Day is soon approaching and the paper kit I'm using for my February Workshops is perfect for Valentine's Day. Baby Pink, Tulip and Black accents paired with Licorice Opaques, Black buttons and the Sweetheart stamp set (only available with the Sweetheart Workshop on the Go kit) and a new stamp set Card Chatter-Love make some really adorable and really easy gift cards. I left the insides blank because I will be giving these out to customers when their orders arrive. I used Baby Pink, Cotton Candy and Black inks to decorate. I made 8 cards in about an hour with the leftover scraps from the WOTG kit plus supervising my toddler with scissors (I'm helping Mommy!) and play dough.
